We still have a few leftover spots in our schedule of competitions for visitors to participate in, which we love to use for introducing new and exciting games on our event. Online card games have increased in popularity for the past year which is most notable for the wide variety of games available. Hearthstone is of course the best example for this, but there is another game that is rapidly gaining in player numbers. To us, this sounds like a perfect game to introduce at The-Party. New at The-Party 16: the Gwent: The Witcher Card Game funcompetition!
Gwent is a collectible card game based on the digital card game with the same name in the popular fantasy RPG The Witcher 3. In Gwent, gamers clash with friends in fast-paced duels that combine skill-based play with bluffing, and careful deck construction. The game is played over a best-of-three series of rounds, as players unleash their hand by slinging spells and diverse units with special abilities, and use clever tricks to deceive their opponents. Thanks to the interactive tutorial, Gwent is fast and easy to get into for all players.
