24 Aug The-Party Nieuwegein in december

It’s been a little bit quiet on our end, but we’re more than ready to start working on maybe the coolest upcoming weekend of the year. On December 18, 19 and 20, Beursfabriek Nieuwegein will open its doors for the 2020 edition of The-Party Nieuwegein. At the moment we are preparing everything, so that we are able to welcome you to an event that’s following the RIVM guidelines step by step.

You probably already realize that this The-Party edition is a little bit different than other editions. Besides the fact that we’re moving from Eindhoven to Nieuwegein, we also changed the date because of the pandemic. The good news is that one of the last weekends of the year will now be a gaming weekend, with exciting esports tournaments, awesome streamers and the most beaufitul cosplayers.

More news to come in the upcoming weeks. To kick off, we would like to let you know that we updated our our tournament page. Valorant introduced itself as a brand new stable shooter game this year, which we obviously can’t ignore. To make sure that Valorant can join the tournament poule, we decided to cut the third prize for all cash prize tournaments (except for sponsored tournaments). That way we’re able to keep the first and second prizes more or less the same or even a bit higher. And of course now there’s room for Valorant. Welcome, Valorant!

We will give you updates from time to time about other aspects of the event as well, like streamers, cosplayers and more. As we mentioned before, we also check the RIVM guidelines from day to day. We hope to welcome you at the end of this year. Buy your ticket now!
